For the High Holidays, Newtown Synagogue will be celebrating COVID safe services for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah. The dates for services are:
Rosh Hashanah (Priestly Blessings, Shofar): Friday 18 Sep. – Sunday 20 Sep. (four services)
Yom Kippur (Kol Nidrei, Yizkor, Shofar): Sunday 27 Sep. – Monday 28 Sep. (four services)
Sukkot (Priestly Blessings): Friday 2 Oct. – Sunday 4 Oct. (four services, two kiddushes)
Shemini Atzeret (Yizkor, Priestly Blessings): Friday 10 Oct – Saturday 11 Oct. (two services)
Simchat Torah (Priestly Blessings, Lollies for the kids): Saturday 10 Oct – Sunday 11 Oct (two services, one kiddush)
Members and Friends of Newtown Synagogue can register for any service for free – click her to join – but non-members will be asked to pay a $100 donation to attend the limited capacity services during the High Holidays.

Friday evening and Saturday morning services are continuing throughout the High Holiday period at 6:00pm-7:00pm on Friday evenings, and 9:30am-1:30pm on Saturday mornings.
